Our Mission The Need
House of Hope Tampa Bay is a regional, non-denominational, non-profit organization dedicated to healing the hurts of teens and their families through education, counseling, and guidance in a loving, Christ-centered, home-style environment, bringing about family reconciliation and restoration.
Our Statement of Faith
“And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers…” Malachi 4:6 (KJV)
Our Vision
Many teens in today’s society are growing up without the necessary love, guidance and discipline in the home to ensure positive growth and development. Many are the victims of family instability, incest, emotional and physical abuse. This lack of a stable and secure environment leave teens to rely on their own devices to cope with today’s harsh environment and oftentimes they fall prey to the negative influences of their peers, media and other ill-intended adults.
The Answer
House of Hope Tampa Bay wants to reach these teens and bring about healing, reconciliation and restoration. As an affiliate of the National House of Hope in Orlando, House of Hope Tampa Bay will be the regional resource for hurting teens. What differentiates this ministry from others is the mandate that the entire family is counseled along with the healing of their teen.

HOHTB Making Transition to New Location
2011 is a year that marks a new chapter for us! Whereas we've left the Odessa property we resided on from 2008 through 2010, we're in the process of transitioning to a new location in early 2011. Once we've finalized the move, we will make an official announcement of our new location.
In the meantime, however, we are still providing non-residential counseling for teens and families. If we can help you in this capacity, please contact us at (813) 920-3800.
Your support through financial gifts and prayers during this challenging time is greatly appreciated and needed during this transition. May God bless you all!
Fundraiser, BBQ, and Country Music!
Have a blast and support us this Saturday, January 29th, with great BBQ and live country music after the Gasparilla Parade! Head on over to 401 S. Howard Avenue in Tampa where country artists Lonesome South, Chesnee Black, Patrick Gibson, and Crossin Dixon will perform. Tickets are just $15 or $10 online. See you there!
Thanks to God, supporters like you, and to the wonderful transformations of teens in our program, 2010 has been an exciting year at House of Hope Tampa Bay!
One of the programs that the teens and staff journeyed through together was “The Hardest 30 Days of Your Life” where we were challenged to get closer to Christ and experience new perspectives as Christians. For example, we learned the meaning of servitude and humility by washing one another’s feet as Jesus did to His disciples. We imagined what a challenge that must have been 2,000 years ago when people wore only sandals and walked on streets of dirt. We also went through a 21-day media fast that brought about new ways of thinking about where God fits into our daily lives. These examples along with so many more had us looking at deep issues within ourselves and how realize how important God is to us.
